Fashion Week

Marc! & Gaga! & V!

lady gaga and marc and v to fashion week.jpgWe took a moment to wonder what would happen if Lady Gaga did in fact descend upon New York Fashion Week.

What would she wear? Whose shows would she attend? Would the creative universe implode?

Probably not, though rumor has it she’s throwing a party with Marc Jacobs and V Magazine which is maybe the greatest thing to happen to the fashion industry in a very long time. As much as we’ll love to see what she rocks front row, we can’t even fathom what she’ll wear to the party of the week.

And since we’re still waiting on the official Fashion Week calendar, we’ll try to be content with brainstorming party themes and praying for the rain to stop.

She's like fashion of late herself...neither new nor original

Are you serious? "The greatest thing to happen to fashion in a long time"; not really. Marc Jacobs throwing a party with that poser is one the worst things to happen in fashion in a long time. I totally agree with #2.

Her hair is the ugliest thing to happen to fashion in a long time. There's nothing inspiring about her. She's really just irritating. She tries to pack every trend possible into one look just so she can be seen as the fashion icon.

Her attempts to be editorial or provocative fall flat. I am the first to love an unconventional pop star with serious style, but when her priority is to shock more than anything else, I just cannot find any way to connect or admire or love what she is. This is the first and last time I comment on her. She's just not worth all of this.

I find her repulsive and ridiculous. She is just a classic case of insecurity, overcompensating for the inadequacy as an artist/singer/woman. Because, frankly she is not attracted what so ever as a woman (no matter how hard she tries). Recently she was in Malta for MTV and had her face covered in black latex. I think she is on to something there, perhaps she should perpetuate that look alleviating us to see her hideous face. Did I mention I cannot stand her and await the day when she falls off the face of the earth.

Why's everyone so down on Lady Gaga? If she wants to run around with a basket on her head and no pants, I say "more power to her". Do I dare say I kind of like her? Not her music, but her carefree is attitude definitely gets a nod of approval from me.

Check it - Lady Gaga as architecture: http://flavorwire.com/32637/lady-gaga-as-architectural-cipher. Love her or hate her, those costumes are amazing.
