Streetwalker: An Italian in Paris

italian streetwalker.jpgMariaSole, 22, shopgirl

Got Her: Strolling around the Palais Royal Boutique, taking a breather from work.

Stalked Her: It was girl crush at first sight. I’m obsessed with that blue, especially when it ruffles so perfectly. And once she started talking I wanted to listen to her exquisite accent forever.

Shot Her: Because she’s somehow managed to make DSquared2’s pointy shoulders and her own antique gems look daytime appropriate. Also, it’s really hard to pull off matching so well.

She Said: “Each person has a color that truly represents their soul. I love primary colors a la Castelbeljac and blue is mine! Oh and this jacket is my little mascot for the year.”

We Say:
Can you be our mascot?

Seriously? Seriously?
no, SERIOUSLY?

haha i'd love to see how YOU look streetwalker if this looked good to you...

the matchy, the cheap ruffles, the color of the jeans.

she's very pretty and looks alright, but outfit is drab as hell, streetwalker is about inspiring... non?

ya that jacket is radical, but I'm channeling "wet seal" with that denim. THERIOUSLY!

utterly boring. and out. Vogue called electric blue so 2007 in their most recent August issue. Her outfit is cute and she's cute but not that original .

Aww! :( Just because Vogue says a color is "out" doesn't mean people can't still love it and rock it on the street. :( I will wear my pretty blues until I'm 90 not caring what anyone says about it.

#7. I'm with you on that! How boring would this world be if everyone wore clothes according to fashion forecasting for mass trends!?

This is my favorite so far, the balance of the complimentary colors is perfect. Not many shopgirls here look like this.

Ugghh, you people with your negativity, it's so tiring. And #5, for you to say that a colour is passe because Vogue says so, shows that you are a follow-fashion monkey. Pathetic!

I'm loving the belt, personally. And the jeans fit her well.

That's not electric blue, it's cerulean. Which is actually very 2002. Quelle Horreur!

I bet if Fashionista listed where the streetwalker's clothes were from, and they were all designer none of you would be saying negative things about this

unfortunately, i'm going to have to agree with most of the other comments. she's a beautiful girl, but the matching flats and top, the jeans, the frills on the shirt...all not good. i'm really pulling for streetwalker to get better.

i hope i never have my picture taken for streetwalker. it would rip me to shreds having all of you callous people put me down for wearing ruffles maybe once in my life or matching my shirt to my shoes (something i do occasionally).
