BCBG always brings out the EICs and this season was no different. Though one in particular did not seem to be having a very good morning. As I was making my way to my seat of few rows behind the Vogue posse, Anna was rather angrily speaking into her cell. Followed by some furious typing of the Blackberry. MMB was summoned over and Amy Astley got roped in, too. Unfortunately, we couldn’t overhear all the convos but perhaps a little FNO drama?
The “celeb” quotient included the Richards sisters, Leigh Lezark, Amanda Bynes and Beyonce little sis Solange. Yeah, nothing too exciting to see there.
As for the clothes (apologies…I was unknowingly having some flash issues so all my shots are totally blown out. Luckily we had Jeremy backstage, so his pics are after the jump!), well, it’s BCBG so dresses abounded. And prints, and color blocks, especially in green. You also may want to hit the gym a few times before you try them on. Seems the body con, bandage action is spilling over from Max’s Herve Leger line. There were also a lot of asymmetrical, one-shouldered offerings. My favorite was a multi-colored mesh dress that Anastasia wore.
The girls walked to The Gossip’s “Dimestore Diamond” and kickin’ “Careless Whisper” remix, to which Fabiola happily sang along sitting next to Derek Blasberg. Also tops was the long, flowing hair like Jac’s and Katie Fogarty’s with just the perfect amount of well-placed flyaways. Maybe by spring, mine will actually be long again. Sigh.
