10 Questions For Project Runway

Okay, sorry for the lateness. But it’s Fashion Week. And when I get home, I’ve gotta write and slideshow and stuff. So I finally just watched this week’s ep (yes, at 3 am…I’m an insomniac, especially at this time of year.)

I was feeling a pop culture void having not read a thing about TV, let alone watched it in days. Please forgive me for any and all loopiness.

1. Okay, when the heck is Michael coming back? And no Nina? Ridiculous.

2. Did an F-bomb slip out on Lifetime, as in “I f***ing love this color”? I swear it did.

3. Is Althea a girl with literally no reference points who has some serious skill?

4. Sexy, romantic, flowy, strong, punk, cocktail, tiger? (Thanks for writing that one for me, Epperson’s model.)

5. Is Jen Rade the best guest judge ever?

6. Why would you not put red on a model? They’re models. They can wear the things the rest of us can’t, right? And, also, we can wear red.

7. How long do you think Marc Bouwer spent on his hair?

8. Is anyone else fixated on what Smurfette would have worn to Prom?

9. I know she’s gone, but seriously, how did Qristal ever get on this show in the first place?

10. And am I the only one still having trouble remembering everyone’s names? It’s not a good sign for a reality season when I don’t have them memorized by week 2.

Epperson absolutely should have won. Althea's was okay but it was a suit for pete's sake, not to mention that all of her goods were nearly hanging out of that incredibly short skirt. Plus, how sweet is Epperson, crying about how much he misses his family?

I totally forgot that Louise was on the show to begin with. The only reason I remember her name is because of her Louise Brooks haircut. I loved Jen Rade. What I loved the most about this episode was definitely seeing Logan without a shit.

5. Yes, Jen Rade was freaking awesome. Especially when she told the model (was it Emarie? Or Valerie? I can't remember which she said it to) that there was a reason they were a model and not a designer. Zing! In general, she told it like it is, and I'd love to see her back on there to fill in.

I guess I am the lone dissenter as of now about Jen Rade...I thought she was needlessly rude to Valerie, who was just trying to be tactful. I thought she lacked class, and those words would never come out of the mouths of, say, DVF. If Nina or Michael would have said it, I would have been fine with it, though. I guess I just couldn't care less about J. Rade.

I seriously MISS Michael!!

Honestly, Qristal was a really poor selection as a Plus-sized designer. Taste...not so much.
