I really like Julia Frakes but I wish she'd eat. Frankly she's painful to look at. And no, she's not fooling anyone with that vegan diet schmeal.

I agree #2. I'm usually someone who minds my own business, and I hate when people assume that everyone who is skinny has an eating disorder, but this Julia is in a different league altogether, like Allegra Versace maybe even worse. How can her parents, her friends, and her employers (PAPER) let her go around like that? She shouldn't be running around at parties, she should be in a hospital. She is a sweet girl but she is plainly ill and needs serious help.

Julia is so beautiful and talented, but she needs to get herself help. She is very sick. It's really a shame that the fashion industry continues to photograph and glamorize a young woman who is clearly ill.

Hey now guest 7, I'm from the good ole' US of A and I call my mother "Mum". That was what "Mom" sounded like when I said it as a three year old (I always spoke like I had marbles in my mouth). And it just stuck.

I think she's gorgeous, and cute...and there's something about her that just jumped out to me.

To add to the chorus: I enjoy Julia's writing and she's clearly a wonderful girl. That being said, I truly hope she is getting the help she needs. She's got a lot of mentors in the fashion industry...I hope that at least one of them is encouraging her to get treatment for her orthorexia. If not, shame on Paper.

I think people are more overly vicious about calling people "too thin", than they are about calling people "too fat". No shit, she's really thin. But telling her "she's painful to look at"?
