Streetwalker: Red-Blooded
By Abby Gardner Monday, Sep 14, 2009 / 2:36 PMCeline, Director of PR for Eres and Bourjois
Got Her: Jill Stuart show, New York Public Library
Stalked Her: Because redheads can definitely pull off red, especially this Isabel Marant dress with an Eres bra showing (of course!)
Shot Her: Um, that necklace (Fendi) and those booties (Stella) made us squeal just a little bit. And the purple!
She Said: “This is my friend’s necklace that she never wears. I told her she was stupid for not wearing it.” We agree.
We Say: We wish we were as cool as all the French girls we see. It just looks so darn effortless. Sigh.

hmmm my mommy always told me purple/red (and pink/red) is the biggest no-no color combination…. i’ve learned to agree with her.
Eeek — her hair, dress, and face are all the same color!
Fail.
I hate the boots
i think she looks great, its not my personal style but that doesn’t mean it’s awful just because i wouldn’t wear it. fashion is fun, let her have fun with it. its not atrocious, just a bit too much for me to wear. i’m sick of everyone always bashing the streetwalkers on this site; it is possible to voice disagreement while being polite and tactful.
your post is all about the labels, its the first thing you mention in almost every line and frankly I’ve seen better outfits made out of grain bags.
I love love love her hair and think that she pulls off the dress beautifully. However, I really hate the purple accessories and white boots. I think it would look so much better if she had matched her shoes and bag to the tan leather of the necklace.
Thank you Fashionista for putting up the woman who, from the moment I first met her, I have said I hoped to be when I grow up.
What a mess. This is not a good example of a cool French ‘girl’. Of all the outfits at FW, this gets ‘streetwalked’?
Seriously, Where do you find these people?
Celine’s got great style. I love seeing her out and about.
I love the boots and the bag, and I like the dress and necklace, but not all together.
I think part of the problem is that you guys need some basic figure photography lessons, starting with using natural light and getting the camera level with your subject’s bellybutton.
I doubt her skin tone was that red in person, but it’s a really unflattering picture.
I love love love LOVE her style !!! you don’t understand anything about fashion….vous etes nulles !!!! toutes des frites dentelees !
