10 Questions for Project Runway

Tonight’s ep was such an Adventures in Copyright moment. But I’m still annoyed that yet again, Michael was absent…even though Nina was back in good form. But on to the questions.

1. “How creative are you that you have to steal ideas from people?” —Althea

2. Do you think Althea stole from Irina?

3. Have we heard the nickname “Meana Irina” before? I missed it, if so. Though even when she’s right, she’s totally a mean girl.

4. Didn’t Gordana’s dress outfit look like it was made for the saddest I-banker’s secretary in Wall Street? Oy, the ’80s.

5. Wait, Nick Verreos is a fashion professor now? Sir, I hope you don’t think you’re any kind of Tim Gunn.

6. Shouldn’t all little cocktail dresses have pockets? I think so. That said, I thought Carol Hannah’s dress, while pretty, was a total snore.

7. Did Heidi get a little bit funnier this season? It may be the only thing that’s more amusing compared to the past. Loved the zipper zing about Logan.

8. Sorry, but who wouldn’t want that sweater jacket that Irina did? Yummy.

9. 30 yards, Christopher? Really? Dude, I can’t believe you’re still on this show.

10. On a Hollywood note, shouldn’t Kerry Washington work more? I already knew she had the fashion bug and pretty great style. But seriously loved her tonight.

^ He was - he even appeared on The Hills a while ago. Irina is on a roll. And no I don't think Althea copied her design. But please, some one let her know that her hairdo is DEAD.

I was in Nick's technical sketching class while his season was airing. Didn't learn much from him cuz he kept leaving to promote the show so we got stuck with a sub the whole time.

Whoa. I thought Irina's sweater thing was horrendous. Faux fur cuffs?! yikes. But then again, I also thought her ski lodge look from last week was quite tragic as well.

They are really scraping the bottom of the barrel when they have to go to Nick as a judge. Nothing against him personally but he was not even in the top 4 for his season. Can you imagine the process involved in getting him to be a judge? First they went to all the LA based designers. They said no. Then they went to the past winners, they said no. They then went to the first runners-up who turned them down, so on and so on.
And yes Christopher is becoming incredibly irritating. He seems to be suffering from the self-delusion and self-grandeur that strikes a lot of fashion folks. He has absolutely no idea how horrible his stuff looks and he says everything as though it's some kind of epiphany or nugget of wisdom or deep witticism when it's just blather. And stop crying!! Looks like the waterworks will be flowing again next week. Yikes.

I thought Althea's pants were horrible. They made the model's bum look huge. Imagine what they'd do to a normal, non-model butt, like mine, for example.
