According to the NY Post, they were paying the guy over 200K to "direct" the fashion of the mag. Everyone knows that the guys who work under him, styling the book and scouting the market do most of the work anyway. And therein lies the problem with magazines. They pay a ton of unnecessary money to the ones at the top of the masthead who do the least amount of work. THOSE are the ones who need to go, not the ones near the bottom who really want to be there and work hard.
