First up, public relations firm Maguire Steele whose clients include Shipley & Halmos, Florsheim by Duckie Brown, Billy Reid, Odin Fragrances, and up and comer, Timo Weiland.
They’re small, but great so you’ll have tons to do including trafficking samples, prepping lookbooks and editor gifts (yes, that means mailing them out too!), managing press clips, assisting with events, maintaining the database (aka a priceless way to get to know who’s who), and generally keeping the showroom looking nice and pretty.
The internship, like so many in fashion, is unpaid but you may receive academic credit. And also like the others, you need to be a wicked multi-tasker, strong communicator, organized, detail-oriented, with lots of energy and a need to learn and grow.
You’ll need to make a three day a week commitment and the hours are 10 am to 7 pm. Email your resumes and cover letters to megan@maguiresteele.com
