Hi, it’s us checking in again. Today’s topic: your lips. Because we’re in the market for something new to try and frankly your sartorial choices of late aren’t really office-appropriate, you know with the transparent tops and all.

So imagine our glee (another current obsession!) when you popped up in Paris with pretty purple lips. Those shots of you at the shows in not one, but two, different shades of that royal color made us imagine we could do it too. It’s like an evolved version of the black shades that we’ve already moved on from.

Your ability to pull off matte, pale lavender lips beyond erased any memories of Wet N’ Wild middle school mishaps. And we were so inspired by the deep super glossed plum you wore at Gareth Pugh that we trolled Sephora looking for a match.

We seem to have found it in Givenchy’s new Interdit line, a group of sparkled glosses with plumping powers and unbelievable shine. We took your lead and ordered the Velvet Purple, a delicious grape and Lilac Confession, which we are hoping to make work-appropriate.

So thank you, Riri for making an otherwise risky fashion choice appear so achievable.
