Trendspotting: A Leg Up

There was a time years back when many thought leggings were going to be a one season wonder. Well, that moment has come and gone and even most naysayers long ago embraced them. We’re actually really liking these dancer-like incarnations of mostly sheer, sometimes short, and always scrunched for Spring/Summer 2010—especially the sheer pinks and neutrals for a bit of light layering.

What about you? Are you game for another season or totally over them by now?

I must say, I'm definitely cutting some of my tights to get the Charlotte Ronson look.

I had been thinking about it for awhile, but this post reminds me of what I must do!

i'm all for leggings, as long as they are not worn as pants solely. so many girls are STILL under the impression that visible ass dimples are cute.

comme des garcons did this last season (and probably seasons before that). If you look at images from that collection, you'll see just how much a fan marc jacobs is.

funny. i was pulling out my winter clothes and layering items the other day- leggings (both thin and pants-like) and knee highs (both under the knee and over the knee)... and i just realized i'm so over them. they've just been around for too long. i donated them all away kind of on impulse, but maybe i'll have a moment of weakness in january and buy some more...?

also- haha- can't believe i'm doing this, but in kelly cutrone's words: "i like you, but i don't like your leggings."

LOL@ 2...i totally and 100% agree. IF youre ass/thighs are flabby steer away from the leggings as pants look. It's just not made for anyone that's not thin..
but i will say..a nice firm ass in leggings is a really cute look.
