Isn’t this just a blatant rip-off of the well-known “Nothing tastes as good as thin feels” quote?
Or is that quote an interpretation of the Kate Moss quote?
Either way, I’d reply with “nothing LOOKS as good as a healthy mind FEELS,” ie, being in uber-diet/deprivation mode in order to achieve “skinny” is soooooo not an ideal way to be…

I think #2 is right, Nothing tastes as good as thin feels. My friend’s mom had this posted on their pantry door my entire childhood. It never kept anyone away from the cookies.

If you read the interview, that’s not her motto – she was riffing on a popular one and saying it’s impossible to follow a motto.

I’m going to hold myself back (for once) and be nice. Clever Kate! Real clever! And original might I add.

good jean voltaire, because clever and original commentary isn’t exactly your strong suit either.
long live kate.

I feel like this is a little bit of a misquote. The article actually reads:
“WWD: Do you have a motto?
KM: There are loads. There’s “Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.” That’s one of them. You try and remember, but it never works.”

I’m glad that quote was taken out of context, because there are lots of yummy things I could think of that are nearly better than sex, much less being a size negative two. I prefer to eat and workout, rather than starve.
Happy Friday! xoxo

The most fascinating thing about the interview really is her weird obsession with jam making.

It would help of this stand-alone quote wasn’t taken out of context. Kate was sort of endorsing the general sentiment, but this wasn’t an all-out “here’s what I’m thinking” quote.

I’m not a fan of Kate but skinny does feel really good!
I accomplished my goal of losing 20 lbs. this year and I feel fucking great!
So while you’re stuffing your face, I look smashing!

She was probably going to say Nothing tastes as good as being Kate Moss feels but decided it sounded too bitchy.

#20, because it draws out anonymous people like you to help the Stoli and Harry Winston ads, which I both support.
