Most models talk about how ugly they felt as kids; they were lanky, skinny, awkward, too tall etc.
Erin O’Connor says she even crossed the street a particular way to guarantee her nose wouldn’t end up profiled against a stationary car. (Also, she double padded her bra.)
So now that she’s one of London’s top supermodels, the founder of London Fashion Week’s model sanctuary and a vice chairman of the British Fashion Council, she’s trying to make sure everyone, model or not, feels good about themselves.
Cue the radio show. She, along with a plastic surgeon and a professor of children’s literature will discuss beauty on BBC radio 4 this Saturday, November 28th from 10:30 am to 11:00 am (London time). As for those of us stuck in America, whoever finds an online recording first (in case we don’t), leave a comment!
