In case you’ve been under a fashion rock this week, you know that tonight’s the night for the taping of the big Victoria’s Secret show. You may have also heard the rumor that some of the Angels are going to be recreating George Michael’s supremely awesome “Freedom ’90″ video for the occasion.
Now, we love Doutzen, Chanel, Miranda, et al. But seriously nothing will ever top this MTV supermodel explosion.
Naomi dancing in the sheer black top! Cindy in the tub! Christy and the sheet dress! Tatjana in the animal print! Super blonde Linda in that delicious oversized sweater! Throw in the jukebox and jacket from “Faith” burning and you’ve got yourself a video masterpiece.
So before it happens (or doesn’t) we thought we’d give you a little reminder of the original. And this song never fails to brighten a day. Though we’ll always contend that sometimes the clothes do indeed make the man. Just sayin’.
