If we’ve been gushing over ShowStudio lately, it’s because we wish we were in London working for Nick Knight or even just bringing his coffee to Somerset House.
Almost every week comes word of a new project, a new idea or a new partner. Though Knight shoots for iD all the time, now the magazine’s teaming up with Knight’s site to shoot one hundred fashion industry icons throughout December.
They’ve already secured Kate and Naomi, as well as Alexander McQueen, Chris Kane and Gareth Pugh to mimic the one hundred portraits Knight took for iD’s 5th anniversary in 1985.
And of course the best part is, Knight will shoot at Somerset House in front of a two way mirror which means, if you’re in London next month, you can watch the whole thing while we wait impatiently for next year’s issue.
