Yesterday brought news that Paul Wilmot is shuttering his west coast operations saying, “I opened up the Los Angeles office to see if there was there was business for us out there, and we just didn’t find it.”
But others, like Starworks, are finding business booming. In fact they just doubled their office size by moving into new 5000 square foot digs on Beverly Boulevard.
Allison Oleskey, who heads up the LA office of 15 employees, tells us, “As we expand our offerings and client range in LA, we felt the need to move to a larger space that would better accommodate our brands and also better reflect the Starworks aesthetic. We have always been passionate about the LA Market and see tremendous opportunity in the years to come.”
Clients who are being serviced by the west coast’s Lifestyle, Sports Marketing, and Events departments, along with celebrity services and the VIP Division include Division include Marios Schwab, Monique Lhuillier, Temperley London, Etro, Bally, Andrew Gn, and the Thompson Hotel Group.
Hooray for growth. Maybe things are finally turning around after all.
