I don’t discount Lara’s feelings. I love that she expressed this! She’s not whining or asking for sympathy, she’s making a statement about how tough on women the industry is that they think even Lara is too big. Lara has 35″ hips, which sounds smallish to me and looks fantastic on her, but all the other models have hips no bigger than 34″. It’s interesting to know they are hard on her because I think she has possbibly the most beautiful body in modeling. To me, a slim hourglass is perfect. It’s a sad statement that such loveliness is criticized by the fashion industry. I say good for her for talking about this. No if only Vogue would pay some heed to what she is saying. Just like I like ethnic diversity in models, body diversity would be nice too.
