A Barbie Girl in a Louboutin World
By Britt Aboutaleb Tuesday, Dec 29, 2009 / 12:46 PM
If the Commes Des Garcons Barbie didn’t meet your doll needs – floral dress, blunt bangs, sweet heels – Christian Louboutin’s option’s finally available.
The man’s been celebrating Barbie’s 50th for almost a year now.
He kicked it off with 50 pairs of perfect hot pink heels at last February’s fashion show at Bryant Park and continued making her shoes throughout celebrations in London and Paris. While other designers tackled the whole doll earlier this year, Louboutin’s full look just landed on Net-a-Porter this week.
His Barbie wears a catsuit, a leather headband over her flowing red locks, and comes with four pairs of Louboutins (each pair comes with its own box and red velvet shoe bag, naturally).
If you try really hard, you can probably squeeze a single toe into the leopard boot, so the $160 price tag is perfectly proportional.

#4, I think you have decent content on your blog but for right now, you need to have a more striking/imaginative/fun/original/colorful/controversial/sexy header.

There are now 12 girls making out with each other in this comments section.
hah. two things:
1. all caps is annoying. i looked at this post and the one prior and i agree with rashomon (i love your omnipresence, btw. how do you ever find the time??)
2. louboutin barbie is halfway to a pair for me. i think i’ll save up.
two things #7, aka E.E. Cummings:
1. it doesn’t take that long to register
2. i don’t know what omnipresence mean
