I don’t know about you guys, but the holiday party circuit is already taking a serious toll on my face…and we’ve still got a ways to go.
To say my eyes have been puffy lately would probably be a massive understatement. Enter this new little beauty gem from Kiehl’s (and yes, it was given to me.)
Now, beauty companies have been coming up with under eye treatments forever, so the concept isn’t exactly novel. But that doesn’t mean that none of them work. This just launched Facial Fuel Eye De-Puffer happens to be one of those.
There’s actually caffeine in it which deflates your bags and it’s super cool to the touch which if nothing else is a little pick me up/refresher. Plus it’s pocket-sized so you can throw it in your bag (big or small) and put it on throughout the day.
Party on.

I’ve been using Garnier Nutritioniste Anti-Puff Eye Roller for a while now and it has a similar effect for about $6 cheaper. It has the caffeine and the metal roller ball makes it feel cool on your skin.
Ugh we get it, Abby was a beauty editor! Please you guys, I’ve loved this blog since Faran was in-charge, but you’ve GOT to shake it up. Enough of these silly posts that always start off with Abby having a beauty issue that’s potentially resolved by some product she knows exists, but may or may not have tried. Who freaking cares! Britt (whom I love when she isn’t being snarky) and the occasional interns (Brett Kane comes to mind) are the only reason I even come to this site anymore. Why don’t you guys ever take constructive criticism? Do you think that all the readers who’ve raised objections lately are just haters? Because I seriously want to know why you’re taking a blog I used to love and pissing all over it!
I second that, #2. Used to love Fashionista and now it just makes me annoyed.
I think they are trying to appeal to a broad range of men AND women aka expand their readership. If Fashionista had never made a single change to their content, layout and what have you — they’d be a site stuck in the past when it’s all about growing and evolving into and with the future. Print is having a slow and painful death and Fashionista will be here to pick up the pieces. I, for one, love the “beauty-breaks” in content. That’s all.
