We’re used to some people jumping out from behind the camera to star in their own images – Karl Lagerfeld’s probably the most guilty.
But we’re not used to seeing Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin in front of the lens. The duo photographs everything from Purple editorials to H&M campaigns, but now they’ll star in the SS10 Lanvin Men’s campaign.
WWD reports the two photographed the ads in Paris this weekend, though the focus is on Vinoodh, it’s menswear after all, Inez is in the shots, too.
There’s no mention of designer Lucas Ossendrijver, but we imagine the Dutch fashion trifecta’s been mulling this over for some time.
