At left is this morning’s cover of WWD.
In our sleepy haze we thought, “Wow, um, Rodarte’s really taking things in a different direction for pre-fall.”
In an ideal world, this is what Rodarte for Target would look like. It’s a simple shift shape bursting with texture, a cage-like shoulder, tulle peeking out from the bottom and a swirl or two, but with a wider variety of fall colors.
In reality, it’s Vera Wang Pre-Fall 2010 and we’ll settle for labeling it an homage to Rodarte Spring 09.
