Olivier’s Next Move?

Tuesday, Dec 1, 2009 / 9:35 AM

oliviertheyskensandchristopherburchventure.jpgThe industry has pretty much been waiting with bated breath to see what Olivier Theyskens would do post-Ricci.
And now we may be just a wee bit closer to having an answer.
Rumor has it, according to WWD, that the designer is in talks with Christopher Burch (as in ex-husband of Tory) and Caroline Brown, who is the president and CEO of Christopher’s in-development lifestyle brand. Word is that they’ll be creating a new retail concept.
But that’s basically all that anyone knows at this point—other than that pairing Burch’s knack for building a brand and Olivier’s mad talent sounds like a not-so-bad idea to us.
Stay tuned for more information as it emerges.
