J.C. Penney really seems to be making moves to up their fashion game in the mass market.
Charlotte Ronson’s I Heart Ronson line is said to have done really great business. And, of course, the Olsens are now on board with Olsenboye .
It was just announced this morning that Barcelona-based Mango will be rolled out into over 600 J.C. Penney locations for fall 2010, making it the largest contemporary line carried in the store.
Currently there are only 12 freestanding Mango stores in the US, though there are 1200 globally so this will certainly increase the company’s visibility in America. And J.C. Penney benefits from the fashion community’s already knowing eye about all things Mango–from Anna helping to pick a new design consultant to its campaign stars like Penelope Cruz, Scarlett Johansson, and the Roitfelds.
Cintra Wilson may not be a Penney’s fan but we’re guessing this latest development will make many of its customers quite happy.

i went into J.C Penny to look at the Ronson line, which I love, and i found several thing in other lines i liked!! At very good prices too!! So I am very excited about the Mango news!!
