Dior might’ve landed David Lynch for their next short film, but rumor has it Chanel’s adding Martin Scorsese to their payroll.
One could argue they kicked off the whole fashion-loves-short-films craze with the Baz Luhrmann directed Nicole Kidman commercial in 2005. Then Keira Knightly’s Mademoiselle in 2007, which was actually directed by Chanel’s Artistic Director, Jacques Helleu. And this year, Audrey Tatou starred in another No. 5 ad directed by Amélie’s Jean-Pierre Jeunet.
Whether they keep Audrey or find another gorgeous Oscar winning actress to star for Scorsese, we’ll see. As for a co-star, doesn’t Leonardo DiCaprio follow wherever Scorsese goes?
