As the holiday season rolled around, she and her staff got to thinking about what everyone was up to, what they were buying for others, where they were going, what they’re planning to do in the new year, etc. So she decided to add a new section to her blog, “Tastemakers’ Guide to the Holidays,” starting today.
We’ve now learned that Amy Astley wants to brush up on her French, Ivanka Trump will be honeymooning in South Africa, Carlos Souza will be trying to quit smoking and that Eric Ripert gives chocolate as a signature gift. In the coming days and weeks, there will be many more cool contributors from magazine editors to designers to more top chefs. And we’re kinda excited to see who they are and what they have to say.
We have no doubt that Tory’s posse will continue to make us jealous with all their fabulous plans. I mean, it’s not that I’m not excited to spend two weeks in Indianapolis with the fam, but South Africa or St. Barths wouldn’t be so terrible either.
