photo courtesy WWDIf we can’t spend our youth decked out in Vivienne Westwood gowns, Vivienne Westwood wallpaper will have to do.
The Dame’s partnered with Cole & Son, a British design firm, to turn a handful of archival prints into wallpaper (see the full gallery here). Black and red squiggles from her early 80′s Pirate collection are at left; she’s also created a lace print, a floral print and a genius trompe l’oeil drape that looks like you’ve crumpled up your favorite plaid shirt and stuck it to the wall.
Rolls start at $87, which means you could even build your own Vivienne Westwood paper dress for significantly less than a runway version, or you could just wallpaper a wall or two.
Meanwhile, if Viv’s into interiors now – she launched pillows last summer – can pirate shaped beds and Union Jack linens be far behind?
