Alexander Wang's launching his first ever ad campaign for SS10. Dan Jackson shot Hannah Holman for the T by Alex Wang posters, and though they were originally meant to be lookbooks for editors and stores, he's changed his game plan. Instead of mailing the black and white posters, he'll plaster them across the city because, "The energy was much more appropriate for something like guerrilla marketing than anything too proper or formal. Because T is really the core foundation of what Alexander Wang stands for, I thought it should be something that could be much more democratic.”

It might be a New York thing, but poster campaigns are genius. I've crossed streets in the wrong direction to read fine print, I tried (seriously) to rip the Christopher Kane for Topshop posters off scaffolding, and I'm pretty sure it was the neon dancing ads on every single corner of New York City that made me consider buying an iPod. Sure, I might be a sucker for great ads, but I'm also T by Alex Wang's target customer, which means this is about a million times smarter than buying a few ads in Vogue.
