I don’t understand why January wore a longer version of that gorgeous LANVIN dress… Blegh. Diane looked impeccable – a great nod to an amazing Couturier. Otherwise, it was the most boring display of carpets and rugs.

I loved all the sleeves, cap-sleeves, and one-shouldered pieces. It makes the usual necklines look very unimaginative.

Thought Julia Robert’s vintage YSL shirt-dress with belt & giant Indian pendant was a breath of fresh air compared to the over-dressed crowd.
But the best dress is definitely Diane Kruger is Lacroix couture.

I wasn’t a fan of January Jones’ dress. Compared to her Emmy dress in 2009 (the white architectural Versace gown) it wasn’t fantastic. Her black Lanvin gown this year was just lackluster and the headband was a little…juvenile…but she’s a great actress and she did have a migraine so I forgive her…also, where is Olivia Wilde? She looked fantastic. And Elisabetta Canalis, George’s girlfriend, was an absolute vision. I loved the shape of Diane Jruger’s gown but not the color.
