Fashion Helps Haiti

brooklyn haiti benefit.jpgThe fashion troops have rallied this past week for one Haiti benefit after another.
Last weekend, a couple of Teen Vogue-ers, Sophomore’s Chrissie Miller and DJ’s Harley & Cassie threw a benefit at the Soho Grand, it raised $8,000. Last night everyone popped into the Thompson LES and tonight the movement migrates to Brooklyn.
A handful of the cute photographers from COACD‘s recent calendar have teamed up for tonight’s party at KC/DC (90 North 11th St. between Berry & Wythe) from 9 to 12. Donations are mandatory, but they don’t have to be monetary — you can donate clothes, supplies or dollars.
Meanwhile, Kooba and HankyPanky will donate 15% of their online sales to Haiti’s relief efforts and Daniel Saynt, the editor of Fashionindie, is auctioning off his Fashion Week tickets.
And last, but not least, Inven.tory’s accepting clothing donations on behalf of the Rural Haiti Relief Center at their store (237 Lafayette Street). Email Kettie@RuralHaitiProject.org for a full list of acceptable donations.
