We need interns.
Fashion Week’s around the corner, the first Save the Dates arrived yesterday, and we need some extra eyes, ears, and hands both in and out of the office.
Ideally, you’ll have an encyclopedic knowledge of and a deep, deep passion for fashion. You’ll also like to write, and do it well. Realistically, you’ll be on your way to both things and we’ll help you get there in the next three weeks – for now, you should be able to identify most of a front row.
Also, we need a photo intern. We’re not totally sure what we’re going to do with you yet, but we want someone who’s not afraid to join the street style fray, who can pick out front row faces, and who takes better pictures than us (which isn’t saying much).

We’ll need you at least two days a week until Fashion Week starts February 9th, during which we’ll need you more. How much more depends on your schedule, but you should be eager to skip class in favor of MILK. Our intern hours are officially 11 to 4, but again, once the week starts there’s no on/off.
College credit isn’t necessary, but we can give it to you. You must be in New York City and this should not be your first internship. You should be as familiar with the Elle masthead as you with Dazed or Lula.

I think it’s unfair you guys limit this to people that only live in NYC, believe it or not there are people that really love fashion and can write about fashion and take pictures that don’t live in the city that could really use an experience like this! Me being one of those people, I don’t live anywhere near the city or state but I would bend over backwards or sleep on the street to have this opportunity if you guys allowed it. I guess I’ll keep dreaming that this could be possible one day.

I would absolutely love to intern! I’m in high school, though :( I do, however, fit all of the other criteria (ability to recognize front-row faces, previous internship experience, etc… Good luck to all the applicants!
