A new year mean’s a new Queen’s Honors List.
This week, Queen Elizabeth announced a handful of fashion favorites including Stephen Jones Рthe man behind hats for Marc, Galliano, Giles and Commes des Garçons to name a few, and Mark Jones, the director of the Victoria & Albert Museum (which launched a Stephen Jones exhibition at the start of 2009).
Luella Bartley’s also earned an OBE, just one year after winning the British Fashion Award for Designer of the Year, despite the fact that her brand’s shut down until a new backer steps up.
If the Queen of England’s rooting for her, an investor can’t be far behind. Right?

I like Luella. I like the fact that she was the first designer to step up and be ballsy enough to do a collaboration with Target (before the whole thing got incredibly popular). I am rooting for her every step of the way.
…and when was the last time anyone cared about what the Queen said or thought?
