from self service.jpgNew York Fashion Week layers its shows one over the other with anywhere from three to five shows in a single time slot, but London’s perfectly organized with one show each hour.

What they fail to allot time for are the exhibitions, pop-ups and creative experiments that take over London during its Fashion Week.

We’ve already made mental notes to check out Liberty’s Carnaby Street celebration and Notting Hill’s Wolf & Badger — and Selfridge’s Nicholas Kirkwood collection’s always a must, but now we’ll have to plan a trip to the St. Martin’s Lane Hotel for Self-Service 1-31.

Ezra Petronio and Suzanne Koller launched the bi-annual magazine Paris fifteen years ago and now, with the help of Idea Books, they’re offering their archives to the public. The issues are priced on availability, starting at around $78 and going up to almost $400 for a copy of the Chloe Sevigny-covered Issue Two. They’ll also have copies of signed prints from Terry Richardson and David Sims on hand.

The exhibtion/pop-up shop runs in the front room at St Martins Lane Hotel, 45 St Martins Lane Hotel, London from February 18th through the 25th from 11am to 7pm.
