Andy and Debb: The design team behind this label got their start by creating uniforms for McDonald’s in Korea. It’s hard not to let this muddy your judgment, but I went in with an open mind. At worst this show was boring and didn’t have much originality. Steff spotted a black fringe dress that was a mere shadow of those shown at Jil Sander S/S 2009. Both of us agreed, though, that this navy blue mink paneled coat was full of awesome.

Toni Maticevsky: This collection was a blatant rip-off of Prada S/S 2009, complete with mustard colored pieces and bra tops shown with pencil skirts. The bra tops were covered in gold sequined appliques and the skirts were the shiniest satin imaginable. The fabric looked cheap and the color garish without Miuccia’s soft treatment. Then, suddenly in walked this beautifully draped blouse paired with a gold sequined skirt. It had absolutely nothing in common with any of the other pieces. Do I like it for that reason? Possibly.

Farah Angsana: Best known for bridal wear, Angsana’s dresses and gowns would work well at any reception hall on Long Island. There were some Chanel-inspired jackets that certainly had Coco turning in her grave. But then I heard a collective gasp from the audience as this silver metallic trench with fur collar and cuffs came down the runway. Yes, it’s shiny and sparkly. Yes, it was downright fabulous. Tone the fur down and it would be magnificent styled with slouchy jeans and chunky boots.

I think it's a huge stretch to say that Toni Maticevski's (you should at least spell his name correctly!) collection is a blatant rip-off of that Prada collection. There are only a few pieces that have anything in common with Prada S/S 09 and it could be purely coincidental. Most of the collection was nothing like Prada S/S 09 and the look you like actually has a lot in common with the rest of the collection. It's like you're TRYING to find reasons to tear it apart.
