I always love to learn about statistics like these; when designers are paying celebrities that amount of money just to be associated with their line, it is very telling. It is better than free advertising, in that not only does the public see the clothing, and become aware of the show, it is automatically "endorsed" by the faces of the celebrities sitting in the front rows of the fashion shows.
