We’re not sure when Nowness launched, but we’ve been sucked in.

The site, which wants to be, “an exciting new way to experience luxury lifestyle online,” posts new videos, images, collages or virtual experiences every day, starting about two weeks ago.

The video above features Lily Donaldson’s hair, today’s profiles Lucien Freud and last week, they screened a film noir starring Agyness Deyn.

According to its About page, Nowness is owned by LVMH, but the editorial direction remains anonymous–other than the individual names of directors and stars preceding each video and as of now, there’s nothing being sold on the site.

UPDATE: And just like that, a long list of answers.

Its pure genius and its great to see a major company like LVMH battling it out with all other independent sites out there

Fashion daily addiction number 800 coming on!!!

This method seems very similar to that of Pandora with the Love/Don't Love feature. And if that can be used as a model for personalization this site could help it truly make a mark from an editorial/webitorial perspective (not to mention LVMH is backing it up)

Lily Donaldson's father , Matthew shot this. He was once an Accessories photographer for no other than Marc Jacobs, so I guess that's where the LVHM connection comes in.

The video is phenomenal. Love it already.
