Isaac Mizrahi’s Central Park Snow Storm
By Britt Aboutaleb
Given Isaac Mizrahi’s penchant for bad weather–rain last season, snow yesterday–I fear a hurricane in Lincoln Center next September.
His theme was Central Park, but in the winter, when one apparently wears sequined tulle ball gowns on the Great Lawn and glittery fur parkas over orange checked chiffon.
It was, of course, a gorgeous show to watch. Isaac’s always the last show I catch before hopping on a plane to London, and in this case, the last show I’d ever see in Bryant Park. Leave it to Isaac to create the perfect send off.
