London’s creative energy doesn’t just fuel great shows, but killer parties, too.
Between the Central St. Martins kids and the laid back designers, this city throws some of the craziest fashion parties.
What’s on the calendar so far? Alexa Chung‘s hosting a bash for Emma Hill and Mulberry. Thanks to both women the company has a hit bag, climbing profits and a newfound reputation for throwing one of the best LFW events. This time around it’s at Kensington Palace and the invite comes with a silver mask. What could be better than a fashion masquerade in a palace?
Alice Temperley’s teaming up with Disney to toast her new line, Alice by Alice Temperley and Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland. Their invite lists “Mad As A Hatter,” under dress code, so maybe we’ll get double use out of Mulberry’s mask.
And if I’d rather see familiar faces, there’s the New York, New York party celebrating London Fashion Week. The host committee includes a slew of street style photographers, Sophomore’s Chrissie Miller and Derek Blasberg. And of course, the Misshapes will DJ.
There’s also PPQ’s afterparty, Chris Kane’s, Ponystep and Natalia Vodianova’s Love Ball. And at some point, we’ll need to see a show or two.
