Wow, I wonder if it is really working. I was never a bog fan of Mac, the only thing I used from them was eyeshadow set. Let's see what they have to offer now.

I used to hate MAC mascaras until I tried them all… I was using the wrong ones. For me, I love Zoom Fast Black Lash & Studio Fix Lash. I do not like Plush on me however, I know people that love it. It all depends on your lash and what you desire for your finished look. Take the time to talk to a MAC Artist who will go through all the mascaras with you and then try them on before you buy one!

Rimmel tests on animals and diorshow is a more expensive version of plushlash. M.A.C's mascaras are 13 bucks and they have so many different choices that it's hard to NOT find the right one for you. Use their primer underneath for a fuller effect and as a note- the plushlash brush is curved then flat- use the curved side to get at the root of the lash and wiggle for volume then the flat side to push those lashes up, up, up. Oh, and you get to recycle your container for free makeup. Can't do that with the other brans. Just saying.

I used to work at MAC and neither me or my fellow employees wore the MAC mascaras. They suck. We had to pretend like we did though. My favorite low-end mascara is Rimmel Lycra Lash Extender which is cheap and amazing. Diorshow is the best high-end mascara, for sure.

You're right. MAC mascaras are not the best. I love the glosses, primers, shadows, liners, et all but the mascaras… I'll just stick with Clinique or Diorshow.

MAC can’t do mascara to save their life. The above is Plush Lash, which launched a couple of years ago. It had a texture like tar, flaked, and clumped horribly, so it appeared that the wearer had three, albeit plumped up, but three lashes. I love their shadows and their price points, but honestly, they get way too much buzz for products that just do not perform. Once I was introduced to Dior, Chanel, and Laura Mercier, I understood the difference in quality. I’d rather pay more and be 100% happy. Moral of the story: MAC is really great at hyping up products and doing gorgeous ad campaigns that suck consumers in, but definitely try before you buy (and try other lines, too).
