Last night’s Narciso Rodriguez show was pretty, but I was more in the mood for a mind-blowing parade of creative talent and out there fashion.

Instead, we got a few bowl shaped leather hats atop sleek silk dresses and sharp jackets. Stand out looks included an orange ombre dress and a sage green silk shift with dark silver mesh on top. He favored looks with one-sleeve, and a palette of burnt autumn colors.

If we had the opportunity to wear a red carpet dress, we wouldn’t choose this. But if we had a closet full of designer gowns to wear every night of the week, we’d take the green.
