On Thursday night the legendary Patti Smith took the stage at Milk Studios in honor of LNA’s first New York Fashion Week presentation.

Everyone–from fashion interns to Alison Lewis, from men in suits to Josh Hartnett and Jared Leto–packed onto the dance floor and rocked out to Gloria. Smith wished everyone a happy fashion week and went onto dedicate her final song to Alexander McQueen.

Earlier in the day, April Leigh, Ashley Glasson and Lauren Alexander showed twelve looks with more than just leggings-there were draped leather jackets, striped tees, slouchy pants and stellar jewelry from Lady Grey.
