Dresses used to be the best thing about Phillip Lim; between those and the flouncy skirts he made for 3.1 we knew which silhouettes we'd be sporting next season.
This time around, the closing dresses fell flat. Instead, Lim's coats were the highlight of his AW10 show.
A shearling jacket stood out (we're still bummed the abundance of shearling in the pre-fall collections hasn't continued this month), as well as a short-sleeved camel coat and a black leather jacket with white fur peeking out. We loved the jumpers, too, and the soft fall colors.
But it's the coats we expect to see up and down Manhattan next fall.
