Gawker reported this morning that Vermont gubernatorial candidate Peter Shumlin’s daughter, Becca, and her friend/accomplice Remy Renzullo hacked into PR firm BPCM’s database and added themselves to the guest lists for Alexander Wang, Preen and Cushnie et Ochs, just to name a few.
First thought: Who did they hire to hack into a database?
Second thought: Why didn’t I think of that?

Apparently Becca and Remy are professionals at breaking and entering the Bryant Park tents. Last season they were snapped by Getty inside the tents, and more impressively their style caught the eye of The Sartorialist.
We’d like to say we disapprove, but isn’t their plan kind of genius? (Though as Kate says, “They better not take my seat at Cushnie!”) They even had a letter claiming Remy was the stylist to candidate’s wife for his campaign. Surely if we had the connections, we’d be pulling every string we had.
This just proves that, if you look fabulous and like you belong, you can get into nearly anything.
