Fall 2010 New York

Suno Deserves Its Vogue Approval

Sunday, Feb 14, 2010 / 2:59 PM

At Suno yesterday:

Vogue-ette #1: Oh my gosh, this is amazing. Who the hell makes this?

Vogue-ette #2: Suno!

Actually, it’s Max Osterweis, who spent a decade collecting fabrics in Kenya before staring the line a few season ago.

And yes, it is amazing. The room was so packed that all of Fashionista was there, and none of us saw each other; it’s the best thing we’ve seen this side of Rag & Bone. The massive wooden platforms and Cindy Lou Who hair complemented the brightly printed skirts and dresses. There was glitter, and chunky wool tights and short, perfectly proportioned jackets.

My closet’s devoid of color, but for every single piece of this, I’d make an exception.

Oh god, I'm loving it. So far, this has been my favorite thing at NYFW. My closet, too, is devoid of color lately. This collection is very inspiring!

i could not agree with you more. i loved every piece in this collection. i <3 suno!

Yay Kenya, i lived there for 2 years and it was a very inspiring country. Most of the locals pull off homeless chic so well and so unaware. It made me want to start a street style blog to journal my trip!!
