The Milanese are angry at Anna Wintour.

While waiting on the Piazza Oberdan prior to the Gucci runway show, press and buyers were entertained by a group of protesters donning wigs, sunglasses and t-shirts that said “I Will Only Stay 3 Days.”

Earlier in the week, the Wall Street Journal reported that Wintour’s plans to only stay in Milan for three days forced the organizers of Moda Donna fashion week to rejigger the schedule, changing it from the typical nine days to five.

We feel Milan’s pain, but really, it’s their own fault. While Wintour doesn’t stay in Paris for all nine days, the organizers of Paris fashion week have said that as long as someone from her senior team is at every big show, that’s okay with them.
