this skirt is completely different. the contrast leather is on the top not the bottom, the waistband is not set in, and the pockets are verticle. ZARA exists to allow people to get a similar look to the high end designer labels without actually paying for it, which includes leaving out quality. do you think Phoebe Philo cares that Zara kind-of copied a style she did last season in a cheaper fabric and uglier style? no. nor do any other designers worth their label name, because it happens all the time, and she's designing something so much better now. AND she knows her customer isnt going to leave her for zara because, well, celine rocks. the khaki skirt with pockets is a BASIC, and im pretty sure i saw something similar to both of those skirts in the windows of JCPenneys a few years back..

I agree. Besides the obvious color similarities, the skirts are quite different in style. I don't think it's necessarily a “copycat” move just to have a similar-looking item of clothing.

LVMH must be able to do something, didn't they just sue e-bay for millions for selling their products? Can't they handle a company copying their products?
