Scene: Akris, the old Swiss family brand designed by Albert Kriemler showed in the basement of the Palais de Chaillot in the Trocadero, right across from the Eiffel Tower.

Models: With Céline right after I expected a slew of unknowns (or lesser knowns), but Karlie Kloss, Chanel Iman, Kim Noorda, Alana Zimmer and Liu Wen walked the show. Speaking of models, where’s Eniko?

Clothes: Camel duffel coats, wide leg tweed pants, cocooned coats that belt on one side, skinny dresses with sheer mesh panels, thick booties in purple suede and one sleek bag after another. A 70′s vibe ran throughout and skinny belts topped almost everything.

Music: There’s nothing like a finale set to Oasis’ Champagne Supernova to snap you out of Paris Fashion Week mode and back to 7th grade.
