All Saints, the British high street brand hawking leather and studs, is in the middle of a slow migration to the United States.
They opened a concession in Bloomingdale’s last year, then launched US e-commerce, and will finally open their first freestanding New York store this May (on Broadway at Broome). They’ve already opened stores in both Miami and Los Angeles.
Unlike Topshop though, their prices in the US are significantly less than in the UK. We’re not sure if it’s that, or the fact that they’ve recently snagged a designer from Vivienne Westwood’s team, that’s responsible for our renewed interest in the brand.
We abandoned the rest of Bloomingdale’s in favor of their cinched waist, asymmetrical dresses, eyelet tops, tie-dyed sweaters and printed silk tea dresses. And the dress at left is perfect for next week’s Dressed to Kilt.
