Post-New York Fashion Week Kate asked, "What's up with André and Vogue?"

She was referring to the distance the magazine's Editor-at-Large kept from the rest of the Vogue team--we didn't spot him with the rest of the editorial staff even once, and on the last day of the week he attended one Ralph Lauren show while the rest of the Vogue-ettes attended another. (They're supposed to be split for press and buyers.)

Meanwhile, André's taken on a new, more public role as judge on America's Next Top Model, and this morning BryanBoy (Happy Birthday!) pointed out a major change on the masthead. André's been listed as Editor-at-Large since the first time I ever looked at Vogue, but now he's lumped in with the rest of the contributing editors. His pages, however, three on general goings on about town or it-girls of the moment, remain the same.

Bryan wonders if the change means André's going to W, but it seems more likely that Vogue's scaling back his role due to his other commitments.

And as for W, Condé Nast is expected to make an announcement today, but it sounds like Stefano's practically moved in.
