About a month ago, a couple of samples of Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Oil crossed my desk.

I don't have great skin (and I don't put anything on my face that hasn't been given to me by my aesthetician or dermatologist), but when I got back from Paris, after a month of traveling and working without a day off, things were bad. I looked exhausted, my skin was almost sickly pale and lacked even the slightest glow. So I squeezed a few drops of oil out of the plastic tube and rubbed it all over my face.

The package promised, "The potent 99.8% naturally-derived and paraben-free botanical elixir works all night to regenerate, repair and replenish the skin barrier for younger-looking skin by morning."

And while it's hard to have younger looking skin at 25, I swear it was glowing when I woke up. I've now used it three nights in a row, and I actually feel refreshed.
