If you’re one of the Gilt Groupe members who received a creepy memo about some missing cufflinks, stop worrying that your account has been hacked.
According to Gilt’s Twitter, the mass email was sent because of a glitch in the internal system. Whoops.
Our bet is that Gilt offers all of the “inconvenienced” members a $25 credit. At least that’s what we’re hoping for!

Thank god! I was totally creeped out…but kinda excited for a free pair of cufflinks.
Earlier today, we mistakenly sent an email regarding an order for a pair of cufflinks. This was a human error on our part and we want to assure you that accounts were not and will not be charged for this order. We value our members, and look forward to assisting them with future orders. We truly apologize for any confusion this has caused. Please feel free to contact us at support@gilt.com if you have additional questions or comments.
;)) funny….but no luck with those $25:))…visit my blog http://www.iscariotteh.wordpress.com

ohh too bad, I got one too!
yeah I was hoping to get some free cufflinks. apparently not.
I received the email too. A $25 credit would have been perfection! Ah well…maybe after their next “human error”…
